Maria Robertsson (C), ordförande i kultur- och fritidsnämnden, efter kritiken:"Får väl titta på det"
Kultur- och fritidsnämndens ordförande Maria Robertsson (C) säger att de kommer diskutera om de ska göra några förändringar efter kritiken från jävexperten Jan Turvall.
När kultur- och fritidsnämnden delade ut bidrag till Klosterruin Kronobäcks vänner satt Michael Pettersson (S) med och röstade, trots att han är medlem i föreningen och hans fru är ordförande. Han anmälde inte jäv, varken i år eller förra året, även om han gjorde det 2024.
Nämndens ordförande, Maria Robertsson (C), säger att nämnden har en praxis:
– Vår riktlinje är att om man sitter i styrelsen för en förening, då går man ut. Är man endast medlem får man vara kvar – men får själv känna efter hur det känns, säger hon.
– Det skulle bli ett himla spring och bli tomt kring vårt nämndsbord om alla skulle gå ut för att de är medlemmar.
– Sedan vet jag att det är en väldig jakt på alla jävsituationer "hit och dit". Jag kan inte se att vi gjort något fel.
★ Vad menar du med jakt?
– Jag menar ingenting. Jag tycker inte att det varit något problem i vår nämnd, säger hon och tillägger att det säkert finns vissa utifrån som kan ha synpunkter.
När Robertsson får höra vad jävsexperten Jan Turvall säger kallar hon det "tråkigt".
– Då får vi väl titta på det till kommande gång när vi delar ut bidrag. Alla får väl göra om och göra rätt i så fall, säger hon.

Culture and leisure committee chair Maria Robertsson (C) says they will discuss whether to make any changes following criticism from conflict-of-interest expert Jan Turvall.
When the committee distributed grants to the Friends of Klosterruin Kronobäck, Michael Pettersson (S) sat and voted, despite being a member of the association and his wife being its chair. He did not declare a conflict of interest, neither this year nor last year, even though he did so in 2024.
Committee chair Maria Robertsson (C) says the committee has an established practice:
– Our guideline is that if you sit on the board of an association, you leave the room. If you're only a member you may stay — but should judge for yourself how it feels, she says.
– It would be chaos and our committee table would be empty if everyone had to leave just because they're members.
– I also know there's quite a hunt for conflict-of-interest situations "here and there". I can't see that we've done anything wrong.
★ What do you mean by hunt?
– I don't mean anything. I don't think there's been any problem in our committee, she says, adding that there are certainly some outside observers who may have opinions.
When Robertsson hears what expert Jan Turvall says, she calls it "unfortunate".
– Well, then we'll have to look into it for the next time we distribute grants. Everyone may just have to redo and do it right in that case, she says.
